Harrison's Power Treats 1 lb
They will do anything for them!
My Blue and Gold Macaw and Military Macaw had bad habit of biting me when I put them back in the cage. When they were in an outdoor aviary cage when it was time to go in, they would not come down from high up. Power Treats solved my problem. They love them and I reserve Power Treats for when I put them back in the cage. I hold a few in my hand and let them see the Power Treats and they come immediately! I hold a few in front of each bird's head as I place them back in the cage. Each bird has a perch mounted on the Door of the cage which makes it easy to place them in the cage when the door swings open. They only get the treats if they do not bite me. They rarely bite me anymore and are much more cooperative.
I used to have to get a ladder and a towel to capture them when they were very uncooperative. I don't have to do that anymore!
(PS Pistachios in the shell work too!) (As a note: When I take them OUT of the cage, I target the perch by tapping it (no words) to signal the bird to come to the door perch. I can then remove them without having to go after them in the cage. I reward them when they come and come out without biting.

This product was recommended by my avian vet
Harrison bird products like the Power treats were highly recommended by my avian vet as the best pelleted bird food on the market. It is organic, no dyes and my 27 yr old African grey, 20 yr old Senegal, two cockatiels all love it!

Power Treats Great for my Pet Rats!
My veterinarian in northern Virginia (at the Stahl Exotic Animal Clinic) gave me a free sample of Power Treats and told me that they were just as beneficial for my small mammals---Dumbo Rats---as they are for birds.
Lo and behold, Power Treats seem to be the FAVORITE FOOD for my two "babies," Lucy and Ethyl.
I highly recommend Power Treats to anyone who owns pet rats.

first thing my bird looks for
I have had my parrot for 38 years. He has been on a supplimented seed diet for 36 of those years. He was showing signs of over grooming and Vet suggested I switch his diet to the Harrisons brand. It took two attempts to get him to accept the food as the primary diet. Once he accepted the switch, (about a 4 week process) these Power treats are the first to be eaten. He Loves the power treats. As a result switching his diet has improved his overall health. His feather quality is better, he is more active. I highly recommend thr power treats, as well as the other Harrisons
