Wood Corner Shelf 10" x 7"
Works perfectly for my disabled parakeet
We recently discovered that our parakeets had babies in their cage. We were a few days late in getting them enough nesting materials. One of the babies developed splay leg. Although we went through the measures of trying to rectify the situation, the baby is still splayed. This corner shelving unit helps the baby perch without too much trouble. We purchased this item with another shelf like unit to give multiple perch opportunities. You would never tell from this birds attitude that he was disabled. He is a happy little bird and likes to play with us. I am so thankful there are items out there for our less than fortunate birds.

THIS SOLVED A MESSY PROBLEM
My birds like to perch on their food dishes. So I thought about putting up something above them to perch on. They love the perches and use them constantly. I still cover them with paper towels to contain any messes from dropping below, and it does the trick. Their food and water dishes remain pristine and un-pooped in.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to solve the same problem.
Because the price is so reasonable, I was able to purchase 4 of them without feeling guilty. That puts 2 corner shelves in each of my 2 bird's cages. And because they are made of natural wood, they were never frightened or spooked by them.

His favorite perch!
Pumpkin loves his corner shelf! He keeps his stuffed bear there and loves to cuddle with it.

My birds favorite perch.
All my small birds love this perch. They use to fight over it, but now share. I have a one legged bird who will perch no where else. Its rungs are spaced just right so they can't fall off.
