Cleaning instructions
Remove bird, toys, perches, cups, and grill from cage. Pull out the tray and wash in soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Wash all wire surfaces and plastic base with a nontoxic bird cleaner (such as Kaytee EZ Care Quick Clean #26354) or soap/water solution. Rinse and dry thoroughly before adding back cage accessories, tray, and your bird.
Your bird's cage should be large enough for her to sit comfortably and move freely within it and spread her wings. The cage bars should be appropriately sized to prevent escape or injury.
Breeding and raising birds is a challenging responsibility recommended only for those who are willing to invest the time, patience, research, experience, and equipment necessary for proper bird care.
Bird nests should provide comfort and warmth for baby birds to successfully hatch. Female birds instinctively search for natural nesting materials that they usually find in the wild such as various reeds, twigs, leaves, and grasses.
While breeding and raising birds is a challenging responsibility, it is also extremely rewarding if you're willing to invest time, finances, and space into proper care.
