This clamp lamp isn't bad for the price
I would def recommend this lamp fixture for anyone. I bought it thinking it would be great to use with the bulb I bought. But how my cage is positioned and my room setup is its just hard to find a good spot to set up the clamp light...other than that if you have a lot of things to clamp on to around your cage it is really great. I have budgie's and a week later bought the avian floor lamp to use the fluorescent bulb with so now I use this clamp lamp with a heat bulb to keep my parakeets nice a warm. Nice product

Great for pet birds.
I purchased this Clamp Lamp for my pet cockatiel. I placed a 60 watt bulb and placed overhead on her cage. It works perfectly. She gets heat and light from the same source. I recommend for all birds.

Great Heater
This easy to use gooseneck heater clamps right on my canary's cage stand. I can adjust the position so the heat can be directed at the position he likes to roost at night. I also bought the 100 watt heater bulb. Note: it took a few minutes to get the protective cage off so I could put the bulb in. I couldn't figure why it was there in the first place (I guess if it's inside a cage, like for a reptile, it protects them from the bulb). At any rate, once I got it removed, it works great. Easy on and off switch. I don't turn on the lamp every night, but once in awhile it does get cold (the bird cage is always inside, he is never out in the weather), so it's nice to have that option.

clamp light
My amazon parrot seems to like to sit in the light. I was concerned he was not getting enough natural d from sunlight so thought this would help. The clamp is strong. I have it clamped to the top of the cage and curved to point at one side of the cage so he can get out of the light at will. Once I screwed the bulb in it is crooked which I found odd but not a big deal. The bendable arm is strong. would prefer it was longer so I could have more control over the distance from my bird but he seems to like it. I was concerned it would get to warm but apparently not. when I compared other options this was the most affordable and product is of good quality.
