Supreme Cotton Tail Preening Toy
A Friend for Over-preeners.
I have a little Hahn's Macaw who is OCD and has plucked himself to the point of naked (I make shirts for him)! I used to buy him the Cotton Candy toys for preening, but they are no longer available, so I tried these for him.He loves them! He even suckles on them at night till he falls asleep. It helps him with his OCD, so case closed. A+

My Sun Conure is very finicky about his toys. So I wasn't sure how he'd take to this mop thing. He loved it. Ya never know what he will like. It's always very interesting to see what he likes or dislikes. This is a keeper.

Birds love to pick at strands of string
I think most birds love to fray strands of string. This is a little too big for my two cockatiel's current cage, so I cut off individual strands to hang in their home. Both of my kids love it!

Could be fun
I think this would be a fun toy for birds that enjoy rope. I bought one for my Goffins Cockatoo in hopes to discourage plucking and my angry lovebird. My Cockatoo enjoys unscrewing the toy and throwing it on the ground and prefers water bottles. Of course she does because I didn't have to carefully select a water bottle for her, but chose this toy carefully for her. No my angry lovebird enjoys chewing on another piece of rope in her cage and I thought for sure she would love this. It hangs by her food bowl, sadly untouched. I still think this is a good choice of a toy though.
