Wood and Bamboo Foraging Toy Small 3" dia x 12" long
I bought this toy for my Senegal, and I thought that he would basically ignore it. How wrong I was and very glad I was wrong. He began working on it shortly after I had placed it in his cage, and enjoyed destroying it. Within 3 days the wood pieces were completely destroyed, and I still have the bamboo pieces to give to him to work on. I highly recommend this toy.

Great for first foraging toy
I purchased the large model of this toy not only because it was cheap, but because I needed to get something to teach my bird how to forage. There is a lot of room to add at least three peanuts in each bamboo section if you want to spoil your bird. It also includes a long chain to add more to it or an easier access to put treats in

Lasted 1 day
My birds loved it. After they ate the peanut treats, they chewed the wood to pieces. Kept them occupied and they had fun

Might be ok for a really small parrot
This looked like a clever idea that might keep my umbrella cockatoo (on the small side) entertained and challenged. The bamboo tubes are strong enough. But the wood pieces that the bamboo sections sit on are so lightweight and such weak wood that my U2 chewed them to shreds in one afternoon. So even though I ordered the large size, it is really not appropriate for any parrot who likes to chew/shred wood. And the weight of the bamboo might be too heavy for a small parrot. I'd like to hear from someone with a small bird, to know if they would be able to forage for pellets successfully. All I had left was a chain and pieces of bamboo lying on the cage floor!
