Foraging toy keeps my bird busy!
I purchased this Large foraging toy for my conure. He is interested in it and tries to open the drawers but it is too hard for his little beak. I have to open it up slightly so he can open it up the rest of the way with his head. This toy is more suitable for bigger parrots, i.e. Greys, Amazons, Macaws, etc.

Large Drawer Foraging toy
This is a nice toy, but very easy for your bird to figure out how to get the food out. Mine gets the food out of the top drawers, but won't close the tops drawers once the food is gone in order to get to the bottom drawers.
This toy has the same inherent issues that all of these foraging toys seems to have such as the foraging wheel and this foraging drawer. The connectionon the back for the cage is cheap plastic and if your lucky, you will get a couple of months use out of it to justify spending that much money on it like I did. This should have had a metal connector type bolt and nut connection to the cage.

not good drawer removal design
No instructions on how to attach the drawers so they don't slide out. Would not have bought if I'd known you have to remove the screws from the bottom of each drawer to remove the drawers. Thought you could lift up and pull out. The whole drawer unit does, however, lift off the cage mounting hardware easily. If the screws/hardware are stainless steel and they don't rust, could clean the unit without removing the drawers. Time will tell on that score. Regarding earlier comment on drawers too easy to open, if you tighten the screws it gets harder to open. As far as comment about over-priced; of course it is but was aware of that before ordering - buyers choice. My eclectus parrot likes it I think

Good concept, but major design flaws
My umbrella cockatoo absolutely loved this toy. She spent hours reorganizing toys and treats from one drawer to another, and because the top drawers have to be closed for her to access the bottom drawers, the toy had kept her busy.
Unfortunately, the built in plastic screw is not strong enough to fully secure the product to the cage, and the tabs which attach the unit to the mounting plate are very flimsy and after just three days, she's snapped them off, making the toy unusable. I'm terribly disappointed and don't feel I got my money's worth.
