Easy to attach, works great!
I have installed 2 of the perch makers using a wooden dowel from a craft store. Once I figured out that it was adjustable by taking out the various rubber band things it was easy. You have to make sure that it's stable, you have to fiddle with the rubber bands to get a tight fit. The holder itself has to be put on the perch first, and then the bands. I would highly recommend these!

Great for smaller birds
This works for perches with ends up to 1/2". I bought this not for its intended purpose - using branches as perches - but in the hope that I could us it with plastic tubing to create a "soft" perch for a bird with a foot problem that would be easily washable - unlike some of the fabric perches. And it works just fine for that. I will probably buy more of these and may even try them with tree branches! It's a clever product and well made.

Really Easy To Use
All of my birds LOVE the homemade perches that I am able to make and provide for them because of this product.

gave me more choices for perches
Would work better if the opening was bigger for larger branches so I didn't have to whittle down the end that goes into it, but over all am very pleased. My cockatiels, Rickie and Lucy, prefer the apple branches I used. Would be a good idea to suggest what type of branches that should be used, as some might be toxic if chewed.
