I have the large apple kabob for my Eclectus and they love it. When I first put food on it, I got red dye all over my hands. Make sure you wash the wooden apple to get off most of the dye before handling. Besides that, the product is great. I can hold a few skewered items on it and push almonds in the holes, or I can put the skewer through one of the holes and place lots of skewered items on it- using the apple as a base to stand on. Great!

My budgie wasn't sure what to do with this toy and I was afraid it was a dud, but when I stuffed the little holes with millet clusters and stacked chunks of chewy dried papaya on the skewer, she tentatively picked at jt for about ten seconds and then climbed on it! She spent the better part of an hour chewing and swinging upside down! Even without fruit or treats, my budgie loves this toy. I will have to buy more as she chews it apart.

This has been a good product. It is sturdy and the birdies love to chew on the wood. The skewer is a good length. It allows me to put on a small variety of fruits and veggies. The only downside is that the wooden apple takes up quite a bit of space on the skewer, so if I use it the way it is pictured, I can only get a couple of other items on there. Usually I turn the apple sideways and put it through one of the other holes. The birdies use this as a 'platform' to get to the good stuff -- and then they chew on the wood. It has worked well for us!
