Lixit Flip-Top Bottle 10 oz
When we bought this product people said their birds could destroy the lid. We put a piece of plexaglass in front of it and solved this problem. Just make it about 31/2 x5 and slip it between the spring. Now our African grey always has water.

Great Water Bottle
I live with a quaker parrot and a sun conure who have been drinking from water bottles for 6 years. I have always had the issue of the water bottle leaking. I would even have to keep a food cup beneath the bottle to catch the spilled water.
This bottle is great because it does not leak and doesn't require any tools to install it. So it is easy to move it to another location in the cage.
I love it and the birds love it!

These are all I use now. I don't have to worry about fresh water every day lasts up to a week. I use sparkle water additive so water stays fresh. I added a small fishing bobber inside the bottle so I can see water level from across the room. GREAT time saver and I don't have to worry that water is dirty because birds have gone to the bathroom in it or have taken a bath in it and now are out of water. I can add vitamins or calcium and not waste money because they spoiled the water or bathed instead of drinking it. Only down side is they sometimes put seeds in the tube and water will then leak out because valve will stay open. This only maybe happens once a month so I just look in the tube once a week when I fill ,takes all of a few seconds to look and if there are any I just use a toothpick to remove them.Compaired to having to change water daily and birds having soiled water to drink because they used it to go to the bathroom in 5 mins. after I put it in, I would use these in a heart beat. Will say my society finches are smart they have figured out that if they lean on valve they can get water to stay comming out to bath in. So if you have societies make sure they have bath water to bath a few times a week, this solved the problem, they are smart little guys. My gouldians have not figured this out. I am a Breeder and have about a hundred birds at any one time and all are on water bottles, when they have babies the parents teach them how to use them. 100% sold on Lixit water bottles I use the smallest 10 oz. ones and as I said last about a week with 6 to 10 birds to a cage.
