BioCare Replacement Moth Lure Replacement Lure 2-pk
Pretty Window Thingy
It does look pretty in the shady light that comes through my kitchen window, which is nice: It doesn't look like a bug trap.
And it works, which is even better.
Unfortunately, cleaning out the dead bugs in the soapy water is kind of nasty.
But overall, I do like it, have been using it for at least a year, on and off as we get new infestations, and definitely would recommend it.

Puchased a bad bag of bird seed one time and found moths starting to pop up. Found they were coming from the seed & immediately threw the entire bag out. I scrubbed the cages, vaccuumed everything in the room thinking that was it. Unfortunately I tried everything to get rid of them with no success. Saw the glass jar moth catcher in Dr Fosters' latest catalog & became hopeful to get rid of these pesty insects. I purchased 3 jars, 3 refills & 3 cardboard catchers. I didn't know the jar had an open bottom, need pins & line jar with soap & water. It was not as effective as the cardboard ones that all you did was fold it, stick the attractor to it & put it somewhere hidden. I caught more with the cheapers ones than the jar type. Although it looked nice with the decor of the room was not as effective & requrired more assembly

Doesn't work very well
This "trap" is more for looks than for function. It might work in a closed pantry, but not out in a room. With the wooden plug, there is very little way for the lure to diffuse out into the room. I am trying a different approach, threading the lure on a paper clip bent in the shape of an M and hung with the lure just inside the opening. On a small jar with about 1 1/2" mouth, that technique has caught over a dozen moths in just a few days whereas the product did not catch a single one, sitting in the same room.

Didn't Work At All
I have a large flock therefore I have pantry moths. This was so attractive and sounded like the answer to my problem. Boy, was I wrong. No matter where I placed it, sitting or hanging, I never caught a moth in it. What a terrible waste of money. I had to go back to the sticky traps, they always work. I ended up putting silk flowers in the catcher.
