Foraging System Small Starter Kit
I love this product
I am a 12 year old cockatiel and this is my favorite thing to play with. Mommy puts millet in the box and it hangs outside of my cage. I also have a handy perch under it so I can stand on it and get at the millet.

You need to try this if your bird is picking or not playing with toys!
Our yellow collared macaw is obsessed with preening himself which gradually turned into a picking problem. We took him to the vet countless times for testing and everything came back clear. During that time we desperately tried to get him more interested in playing with toys, but he wouldn't touch them. This was our last resort. It look him a solid 2-3 weeks to figure out that shredding the cardboard = food supply.
-For the first week, poke the hole out for your bird and rip a good chunk off. Sprinkle some of it's food on top of the cardboard. Add more food to the opening when your bird eats all of the food that was visible. Change the box every few days, varying the spot where the tear is.
-After first week, stop refilling the opening and just tear it open a little bigger.
-3rd week or when you feel it's necessary, just poke the hole in. Our bird finally figured it out.
Birds learn by example mostly, so "show" your bird how it works.
This box encouraged our bird to start playing with his toy, and he has destroyed a few big toys already, I have to order more! He is spending less time preening. This product has a lot of promise, it's worth a try. You can keep costs down by replacing the box only after your bird has destroyed a good part of it. Dump the excess food into the new box.

Keep trying new things!!
My Sun Conure is so finicky. It doesn't seem to matter what I buy for him to play with, in or out of the cage, he hardly ever plays with them. Now, what he likes is toilet and paper towel rolls, tissues, tissue boxes, junk mail, or anything he can chew up!! So, I decided to try the Foraging System Small Starter Kit. I couldn't believe it! He likes it!!! Yea!!! I guess he'll do about anything for papaya!! Oh, I put other stuff in there, too. I just knew if I put papaya in there, his favorite treat, he'd find a way to get it out of there!! SUCCESS!!!!

Entertainment is Endless
My Grey spends hours shredding this box to find the goodies I have hidden (or not). Alternate treats with paper and the hours 'fly by'. Plastic case seemingly indestructible for curious bird. She loves it!
