This product meets my needs perfectly
This digital scale is a joy to use! SO easy. SO simple. Small and compact. If you have not prepared and the animal jumps on the perch, you can start the device and get a "0" reading: when the animal leaves the perch, you get a "minus" reading corresponding to the animal's weight. So, whether you have prepared in advance or not makes no difference! My budgies took to it fairly quickly, but I had not anticipated using it for my 10-gram green singing finch: she also hops on the perch readily and we are now able to weigh her regularly. I am completely satisfied with this product.

Bird digital scale
This is an awesome and necessary item if you have companion birds. I got mine when one of me cockatiels had a near death experience. The avian vet said that he was minutes from death. I now weigh all of my birds weekly as a bird will be near death before the show any signs of illness. I don't never want to that close to loosing another bird.

The scale is an asset for anyone that owns a cockatiel. It is a method for tracking their weight to determine if they are experiencing any health issues. Cockatiel's are known to hide their illnesses. Having a scale and tracking the weight on a weekly basis is a method in determining if they are having any problems. I highly recommend this as a staple for anyone planning to own a cockatiel.
