My parrot loves pine nuts, and the local pet stores no longer carry them. Foster & Smith's pine nuts are good quality--no shells or loose nuts--and it saves money, too.

Love at first bite
My African grey converted to pellets with the help of pine nuts. He gets a small amount sprinkled on top of his pellets and generally while rummaging through looking for more, eats pellets along the way! My sulphur crested too enjoys them also, as do my goffins and amazons.

My birds love pine nuts and they are very hard to find.
Drs. Foster & Smith carries so many of the bird products that I cannot find in the pet stores. Pine Nuts, if you can find them, are usually not very fresh. I've found that these pine nuts are very fresh and well liked by my 2 birds.
