One awesome learning toy!!
Hello, I bought this for my Cockatoo a couple weeks ago. I think this is one of the most fun things to do with your feathered friend as far as bonding is concerend.. He caught on very quickly, not so much putting the coins in the slots, but loves to drop them into the box... He will bow his head and tell me that he is a "Ducky Bird" after he gets his praise!! You will need to have his/her favorite treat ready once they catch on.. You will love seeing how much fun they have doing this..Only do this for approx 5 to 10 minutes a day, they will let you know if they get tired of the game by dropping them on the floor, just like a kid..:) I totally recomend this produt...

Fun toy to bond with bird.
My Amazon liked the colored pieces. He likes to pick them up and inspect each one. He chuckles as he looks at them. My bird is 23 and any game/toy that we can play and bond with is great! He hasnt learned to put pieces in box yet. But he does like to play with pieces and tap the pieces on the box. Fun sturdy toy. Also going to buy the ring and peg game.

Wonderful toy
I bought the small teach box for my Quaker Parrot. It was fun to have something to do with him and it took no time at all for him to learn it. 10/15 min. a day for a 4/5 days he had some of the tricks that can be done with this down pat and boy was he proud. (he likes to show off for friends and family) This toy came with wonderful instructions and this was the first toy like this I have ever used.

Fun activity
My Timneh African Gray loves this teach box. It is a fun activity to do with your feathered companion. As in any training with a parrot, 1) show him it is a fun activity by playing yourself with the box and having a good time; 2) be constant!; 3) limit training session to 15-20 minutes; 4) Praise him loudly when he does good!
After 3 training sessions (15 minutes each), my parrot was able to put the pieces in the slot. He loves it and he loves to show me how good he is!
