Adds needed calcium to your bird's diet |
Contains both insoluble granite grit to aid your bird in digestion and soluble oyster shell grit which can be absorbed for lots of extra calcium. Also supplies small amounts of needed phosphorous, sodium, chlorine, zinc, manganese, iron, copper, iodine, and cobalt. Offer a small amount weekly in addition to your bird's normal food.
Suggested use: Canaries, Finches and Parakeets: The manufacturer recommends giving 1/4 teaspoon weekly; we recommend giving several grains every few weeks, as needed.
