This roomy bird cage features a unique front door to give your bird a perch and gives you complete access inside. 2-in-1 door design has a smaller hinged door that swings downward and acts as a perch or a great way for your bird to enter and leave his cage as he pleases. Larger door swings completely open to make cleaning and pet access a breeze. Larger door also features a snap latch with bird-proof door lock guard to keep your bird safely inside and prevent unwanted escapes. Spacious dometop-style cage gives your bird plenty of room to spread his wings while pull-out bottom grill and tray simplify cleaning. Rounded-corner seed guard helps contain messes. Cleaning Instructions: Your bird's overall health depends on the cleanliness of his cage. To minimize the time it takes to clean and maintain your bird's surroundings, develop a cleaning schedule, in which tasks are divided into daily, weekly, and monthly undertakings.
Daily
Replace cage liners.
Wipe away any dried-on food or waste.
Clean and replenish the food, treat, and water dishes.
Weekly
Thoroughly clean perches, toys, and accessories.
Monthly
The entire cage should be cleaned at least once a month. To do so, simply empty the cage and:
Thoroughly scrub all cage bars with a warm, soapy cloth, or bring the cage outside and hose it down with the spray from a garden hose.
Ensure all soap residue is rinsed from the cage and the cage is thoroughly dried before returning it to your bird's environment.
Your bird's cage should be large enough for her to sit comfortably and move freely within it and spread her wings. The cage bars should be appropriately sized to prevent escape or injury.
