Mixed feelings
I did not want or need the stand, but was willing to pay for the package deal if the cage was good quality. I was very excited to receive it, but had gotten too busy at work and home to open the box and set up the new cage for a few weeks. When I finally did, I was greatly distressed to discover several paint chips missing from the back panel. Not small paint chips -- large ones. With the amount of time that had passed since receiving the shipment, and all the hassles of returning a product, plus the fact that, at that point, I was desperate to get a new cage set up, I decided to go ahead and use it. I have a pair of parrotlets in it, and they love it. I also very much like the style -- and would very much like the quality if it wasn't damaged. I would not buy it again unless it was available without the stand, and then probably only from a store where I could go in and check for damage before purchasing.

First time I've been disappointed
I've been buying from Fosters and Smith for years and this is the very first time I have ever been disappointed. The cage wasn't difficult to figure out how to put together, but very hard to snap in place. I had to get a pliers which then chipped the paint. The stand is pretty, but not functional. To move the cage you have to move the whole ensemble. Otherwise you have to unsnap the cage from the stand upsetting what you have in the cage, unless it is hanging. I also wish in the description of the cage it would have said it was painted verses plastic coated.
