CaribSea Caribbean Live Sand Original Grade Substrate 20 lbs
Very Good and Fast Product
I put this in my new 125G Reef Tank at about 1.5 lbs. per gallon to get a good bed size. I added this product on a Tuesday night and Friday added all my fish from the 75 gal Tank into it and the fish have not been happier. Last week I had a pair of clownfish lay eggs in the community reef tank. I think without this product I would still be waiting for the tank to cycle. Thank You

Awsome, Great Product.
This product is awesome, and would recommend this product to anyone that I know. I bought 60lbs of the regular live sand, Their was no need to rinse the sand, as directions noted on back, i used the plastic bag that the sand came in to be a water barrier as i was filling the tank with salt water, The tank was cloudy for maybe a hour at max, and even than it was hardly noticeable. The best part about this was the difference in sizes of the shells that came with the sand, i have some that are no bigger than the nail on your finger, to quarter sizes, and a couple that are about the size of a half dollar. The look of it is great and is everything that I could of looked for in a Sand.

Clean FINE OOLITE
Really clean sand. I didn't even rinse it, I just put in in the tank and used the bag to buffer the water. I was expecting it to be cloudy since it was really fine, but the cloudiness was very minimal, and dissipated after a few minutes. My water has been clear since. It seems to be really quick to settle when stirred up. PLUS the color is great. and the price was good.

sand was clean and as expected
Straightforward delivery. Sand went in, made water cloudy for a few hours and cleared up. No rinsing etc. needed. Tank was new set up. I bought 6- 40lb bags for my 150 (6 feet by 18 inches wide) which gave me a solid 4 inches plus.....trying a DSB this time (Deep Sand Bed). I am glad I didnt go with oolite only because my powerheads were difficult to position and not blow the sand away. I had kudo 2750 gph and had to remove them because the next am the sand would be drifted out of proportion no matter where i placed them. I bet the oolite sand would have been worse? anyway, getting me some 14oo gph power heads. Live rock coming soon!
