Product is OK
I renewed 3 times (renewed every 2 days), it did lower the level of phosplate, but can't reach 0ppm.

Works too well!
First off, Kent says this is ceramic and mentions nothing about containing aluminum (probably because so many reefers think aluminum is bad for their tanks). The ceramic is aluminum oxide, aka alumina like many other brands offer.
Personally, I have used other brands of alumina phosphate removers without any issues.
I was using tap water for a while when I first set up my reef. My phosphates were 2.5ppm! I tossed in a filter bag with the recommended dose of Phosphate Sponge in my sump and just twelve hours later they were down to 0.25ppm. This was impressive, but some of my corals were expelling zooxanthellae the next morning. The adsorption rate is simply too rapid for a reef where slow changes are needed.
The product has to be removed before the 48 hour mark or it will release phosphates back into the water column. This makes it the most expensive phosphate media that I am aware of since other brands can last from 5 days to 5 weeks.
