Mandarin excitment
I ordered this especially for my mandarin. I have never seen her react to food like this. As soon as it hit the water and the rocks she couldn't suck up fast enough! She is even snatching them out of corals. everyone in my tank is loving it. If your lfs doesn't carry it, it is well worth the near $25 for shipping. Did I mention that my mandarin is a wild caught too? now when I get a bigger tank setup and established I can get her a little ora male maybe, without too much worry.

I cant say enough good things about this food!!!
I work in a retail saltwater fish store and this product is one of the BEST things to get our picky eaters to recover from shipping stress. Aside from the obvious, Mandarins, Seahorses & Pipefish, other species go batty for this food as well. Leopard Wrasses, Flasher Wrasses, Anthias, Pygmy Angels, the list goes on!! A lot of our customers mention the price, but between the high protein content and the fact that there is very little water in the packaging, its well worth the added cost. A little really does go a long, long way with this food, a single pack could last any nano owner for months if used 2-3 times a week in the proper ammounts. Get it, try it, love it.

Must have for mandarins
From the moment I first put Nutramar Ova in my 90G my two mandarins sucked this stuff up off rocks and sand and anywhere they could find it NO special training necessary. At a time I became less diligent (months) one mandy got rather skinny and between an addition of some pods and Nutramar Ova that mandy I'm glad to say is still with me and filling out really well. Is this product a replacement for pods-NO but it is THE no hassle supplementation to a mandies diet sure to make them fat and happy.
