Good idea not well executed
The idea of a hydrometer that dwells in a salt water aquarium is a great one, but this version has some major drawbacks. The user is instructed to capture a small bubble in the top of the unit to use as a level, but I never trapped one that was optimal — always too big or too small. This unit is hard to level and the suction cups on the one I bought did not hold well; the unit fell off about once a day.

Does Not Stick!
Not sure if I got a dud or not but I would stick it against the glass and a couple minutes later ill find it on the sand! Seems nice and small easily concealed. Now only if I could get the dang thing to stick!

Doesnt work in reef tanks
The product seems to be designed and constructed ok. I purchased it to use in a 55 gallon reef tank, but it would not work due to the flow in the tank. There are several holes designed into the meter to allow for water circulation, and due to the high water flow in the tank the needle always registered very high, out of the range of the meter. This was due to the upwelling of current at the edge of the tank. (2000+ GPH in my tank) I tried several different locations but the needle either read very high or very low due to the current. Bottom line, it will work well in a tank with little or no flow, but not in a reef tank or tank with similar water movement.

Waste of money
this product turned out to be a waste of money. It was not accurate compared to my regular hydrometer. It was off my several ppm. Also, I would not stay attached to the glass on my aquarium. I made sure the glass was free from algae, but it still would not stick. I threw it away because it wasn't worth the money or the hassle to return it. I was very disappointed in this product.
