excellent salt, dissolves faster
i was having problems with another salt not dissolving very fast, and this salt fixed the problem! quickly dissolves and doesn't leave a residue.

best salt
I was using reef crystals for a long time, my polyps started to fade and slowly started dying. Read articles and reviews, one article said to check for iodine ( normal range 0.06-0.08), I mixed my reef crystal salt and check the iodine conc, it was high (they dont have tables to show the composotion of their salt). Then read the composition of seachem slat mix and decided to buy this salt, mixed it and tested it before delivering it to my tank, the iodine was within normal range. Now my polyps are regaining strength.

Switched from instaocean salt and will never go back. Juat cant go wrong with seachem products.

Best salt I've ever used
Switched from Instant Ocean to Seachem Reef salt and will never use anything else. Ordered the 200 gallon box, which is cheaper than the 160 bucket because of shipping. Numbers read awesome from it. In my Premix bucket, it read 440 Calcium, 9 dkh and 1400 magnesium. Whats not to like about those numbers? It also mixes very quickly, so if i ever have to do an emergency water change, I can have fifteen gallons mixed well enough in 10 minutes. I like the numbers too because if anything is out of whack, too low, or too high, the salt will simply correct it, unlike Instant ocean with super low calcium or Oceanic with super high calcium
