Concentrated single-dose ampoules simplify aquarium treatment
|
Replenish iodine to support healthy development and coloration of corals. Prodibio Iodi+ offers a premeasured, easy-dose way to supply and maintain iodine levels rapidly lost through aggressive filtration, protein skimming or normal metabolic activity. Iodine supplementation also plays an important role in combating coral bleaching by neutralizing harmful oxygen produced in excess by zooxanthellae under excessive or intense aquarium lighting. Prodibio Iodi+ is particularly recommended for Xenia, Anthelia, Clavularia and corallimorphs corals.
Prodibio Aquarium Care Products are specially packaged in single-dose glass ampoules. Used in its entirety once opened, each vial contains a highly concentrated product to reduce packaging waste. Tinted glass protects active ingredients from light damage and sealed with inert gas (argon or nitrogen) to reduce oxidation and product degradation. Ok to store at room temperature - refrigeration not required.

General Information
Iodine is an essential element and is vital for coral development in closed reef tank environments. However, it is rapidly consumed by the invertebrates and eliminated by the skimmer, the active carbon, the filter and the coralline algae. Prodibio IODI+ supplies the hard corals in your aquarium with the iodine they need to grow and for coloration. It also helps corals adapt to lighting variations, neutralizes the excess oxygen produced by zooxanthellae under excessive lighting and thereby combats coral bleaching.
When should Iodi+ be used?
- In your marine water tank for development and growth of your corals
- When your corals bleach or when they are starting to lose color in your saltwater aquarium
