A must have!
In my opinion, Kanaplex is a must have medication to have ON HAND at all times. It treats fast-moving bacterial and fungal infections including Dropsy, septicemia, and columnaris. Since it can be difficult to find in stores, it's good to always have in on-hand. It is the most effective med for these illnesses that I know of and it is also relatively gentle on fish.
I made the mistake of not having this on-hand and I had a female betta pass away from dropsy in three days, which was not enough time for the meds to be shipped to me. Columnaris, dropsy, and most bacterial diseases move QUICKLY and Kanaplex is one of the most effective meds for these. If you ever experience on of these diseases and you happen to have Kanaplex right away, your fish has a much higher chance of survival.
The only downsides to Kanaplex is that it is kind of expensive and hard to find in stores, but all of it's pros outweigh those two cons. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

was told it works well, had great reviews, but.....................
used this product for 5 days, did not help in anyway with pop eye, waste of time with any chemical products, no matter what company, never again, the company states that it kills the bacteria in pop eye, but doesn't cure it.
