Installation
The Tube Connector and the adjustable Base Support of the Seltz L20, L30 & L40 also allow installation for non-submersible (in-line) use. The included suction cups provide perfect stability and totally silent operation. In order to prevent noise and disturbance caused by vibrations, it is recommended to position the pump in a manner that avoids lateral contact with aquarium or sump walls.

Flow Regulation
The Seltz pump is provided with a system that controls and regulates water flow output. By moving the control knob, the water flow can be adjusted to suit different applications.

Maintenance
Attention: Before any kind of intervention, always disconnect electrical supply of the pump and any other appliance placed in the water.

Regular cleaning and maintenance of the pump will guarantee better and longer performance.

Remove and disassemble the pump.
Clean the rotor assembly by removing buildup or deposit with a soft brush.
Remove the pre-filter sponge and rinse thoroughly under lukewarm running water.
Reassemble pump. Make sure the two notches on the pump chamber and the pump body correspond.

Cautions

The pump is intended for indoor use only in fluid with a maximum temperature of 95 degree Fahrenheit.
Be sure that the voltage of the main supply corresponds to the voltage shown on the unit's label.
Before connecting the main supply, make sure that the cord and the pump are undamaged.
The cord of this pump cannot be replaced or repaired.
