Nice little pump
I'm using the Hydor Pico 180 as a circulation pump in a little 6 gallon nano reef aquarium. I really like the magnet that goes on the outside of the tank, which can help you put the pump exactly where you want even if it is hard to reach. The magnet also gives me confidence that the suction cup will hold. This is not a super powerful unit, so it might not be what you need if you want stronger current in a larger tank.

Very good for Pico tank
I used this as extra circulation in my 5 gallon pico reef tank and I love it. It has an adjustable flow if the 180 gph is too much. I have it wide open and it does a great job. The mounting bracket is a little awkward if you're putting it anywhere besides the very top of the tank, but nothing a little determination can't handle. Good product.

Great Little Pico Pump
This little pump has been in my tank now for over a month and it has run great. It has a small profile and isn't obstructing anything in my 5gal Hex.
I like the versatility of it, easily placed anywhere on an open aquarium wall, adjusting the flow rate is a plus, and you can adjust where the flow is pointed to just about any angle.
It would be Five stars but nothing is perfect. I sit 3 feet from the tank for 10 hours out of the day. And I would hear it running some days. Most it was quiet, but after a week or so I would hear a rattling noise. (Not too loud) but I was able to remove the motor and it had a small amount of play. I took a small Teflon O'ring and placed on each end and it has been whisper quiet ever since!
I still would recommend this pump.
