Introduction
Koralia Magnum is a new innovative range of circulation pumps for aquariums. The exclusive Hydor design and technology guarantee a continuous and powerful water flow, which can be directed freely thanks to the special sphere-shaped connection to the exclusive combination suction cup + magnet support. High performance, low energy consumption, and quick and easy maintenance. The combination suction cup + magnet can safely hold Koralia Magnum pumps in glass or acrylic aquariums from 1/2" to 13/16" thick.
Exclusive electronic system guarantees unidirectional startup with AHS function.
What is AHS?
AHS, or Anti-Heating System guarantees extra safety. This system automatically detects if the impeller is blocked (this could happen in particularly hard working conditions). After 3 startup attempts, the AHS function cuts the power supply to the pump to prevent the motor from overheating dangerously (thus heating the aquarium) or damaging the internal circuits.
Note: Should the AHS function activate, to restart the pump, simply unplug it from the electrical supply, check the cause of the impeller blockage and carry out appropriate maintenance and then plug in the Hydor Koralia Magnum.

A crucial - and often overlooked - aspect of keeping a reef aquarium is water movement. Proper water movement goes a long way toward helping a reef system thrive. Corals and other reef inhabitants are accustomed to rapid, constant water movement.
Water current is essential to nourish and feed your aquarium's inhabitants, as well as clean and regulate your aquarium's water. In addition, poor water movement hinders biological filtration, which in turn, raises toxins to dangerous levels.
