Installation
Please verify that all components of the pump are undamaged before putting it into function. Do not operate the pump completely out of water. Running the pump dry will cause structural damage to the rotor.

• Detach the rotor chamber/flow control component from the pump body and then remove the rotor.
• Clean the rotor and well with a soft brush.
• Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and reassemble components.
• Do not use solvents or detergents of any kind.

Note: Although the unique construction of Hydor Pico Evolution Mini Pump Models 200 and 400 allows the operation in very low water levels, operation is not recommended at a water level lower than 1.5 centimeters. The pump can operate both in a vertical or horizontal position. The water flow can be directed by turning the rotor chamber regardless of the pump's position.
