Micro Temp Controller Heater Controller (Mfg# AZ12037)
Works great, highly reccomend
I have 2 pico tanks for bettas and wanted to keep them properly heated. Most adjustable heaters were too big for these tanks or couldn't fit against the wall of the tank (did I mention the tanks have curved glass?). I ended up getting small "constant on" style heaters for the tanks and this temp controller to keep from making boiled betta soup (mmm). I've had house temp flux from 66-78F and the tanks have stays at 78-79F constantly, only going below that # once when the temp was 66 but that only lasted an hour or two before the house (and tank) warmed up again (the fish didn't slow down or show sighs of stress/sickness from this short period of cold). If I'd gotten a slightly larger wattage "constant on" heater I would not have had a temp dip at all but that was my choice, its nothing negative against the azoo temp controller.
Since I'm keeping bettas the preset temp of 26C (converts to 78.8-81.1F) is acceptable and I don't worry about it resetting if there's a power outage. I did not have to calibrate the controller, according to my little thermometer in tank its going just fine.
The sensor in the tank is very minimal (smaller than any other tank equipment would be). I have the controller slapped tot eh wall next to the tank using the double-sided tape that comes with this, so i can see at a quick glance where temp is at.
Some people complain about this only being in C, not F and not having decimals for more accurate readings, but if you keep a thermometer in the tank you can verify for yourself that its keeping the temp at a constant.
Been running these controllers....2 months now (one per tank since different gallon-age) no issues, betta happy, no cooking or freezing fishies ^^ Highly recommend this to anyone using "constant on" style heaters especially those designed for betta or pico tanks.

I am very satisfied with my Azoo Micro Temp Controller, so satisfied that I have purchased 3 of them. Nobody wants to come home and find their heater stuck on and the temps over 80*, this controller controls the power to the heater using it's own sensor to maintain the water temperature that you select. It has 2 power outlets, displays the current temperature, can be calibrated and indicates if it is powering the heater or not. I put one on my home tank first and liked it so much I got another for my Crested Gecko Vivarium. It works equally as well with heat lamps(as long as your desired temps are within it's operating range). When I set up a tank on my desk at work I got the third, I don't trust the preset/always on heaters and this gives me piece of mind. One quirk, not enough to be a con, is that it only displays the temp in Celsius. So a quick check of the web or smartphone unit converter app is needed to get the conversion for your desired temp.
The Micro Temp Controller is a very inexpensive way to prevent broken heaters from overheating your tank by completely removing power from the heaters when the desired temp is reached.

Works great and can't beat the price!
I recently installed the Azoo Micro Temp Controller on my 75 gallon fresh water tank. I had a heater malfunction once and have been worried ever since that it could happen again. This temperature controller gives me peace of mind knowing that I have a backup in place. It is very easy to use and I was able to set it up in just a few minutes.
