Received my AquaticLife Ro Junior model (100 gal/day) and I am very impressed with the quality of the unit. The price from Drs. Foster & Smith made it a very easy decision to purchase and the rebate from AquaticLife put the icing on the cake. The unit is built to last. It is solid and appears to be made from top quality components. I did have to call AquaticLife directly to figure out how to un-clip the hose from the elbow leading from the RO canister and I have to be honest....THESE GUYS ARE ALL ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Nice to be dealing with two companies that really take pride in the products they sell (Dr.Foster& Smith) and take pride in what they make (AquaticLife). I had also questioned the need to have to toss the first 30 gallons of water from the unit but I now fully understand the reasoning behind the requirement. In conversation with AquaticLife I learned a lot more about how to keep the unit operating at its peak performance and got several of the 'theories' about RO water put to rest. I could not be happier with the unit and with the fact that now I don't have to haul empty 5 gallon bottles all over the place to get filled when I need to do partial water changes in my tank. There are plenty of other non-aquarium uses for this water and I will be making every gallon that it generates useful around the house and garden.

Rated 5 out of 5 by swampdaddy Great price, water, production, and simple set up.
Got my 100gpd unit installed and running and it works great. Everything came basically assembled all i had to do was take the plastic off the cartridges and insert them into the filter container. They put the filters in their intended place when shipped from the factory so no confusion on which canister goes into what container. Take the colored hose and attach(push connectors)them to the proper outlet and it's ready for water, i do want to mention that the connector that it comes with attaches to a regular garden hose, not a faucet like it says in the description.all in all it is a great product so far and produces water as promised 100gpd give or take on the pressure that your house water is set at.

It is a good basic filter, bought while on sale so it added to the valve. Down side is all the tubing is one color in white, where most companies color code, pressure gauge is in the wrong place it should be before the RO membrane. Since more of the US is using Chloramines the carbon block should be upgraded, it states catalytic GAC but it is not. It does offer some upgrades for the price, great starter RO just change out the carbon blocks for a better filter.
