Coral Vue Diablo-225 Space Saving Skimmer with PSK1000 Sicce Pump

The Diablo-225 Space Saving Skimmer, for aquariums up to 200 gallons, brings you consistent high performance and reliability in a streamlined unit that - thanks to its pump bottom-mount design - takes up very little of your precious sump space. The bottom-mounted, ultra-efficient Italian PSK-1000 Sicce pinwheel pump also injects water directly into the Diablo skimmer chamber, enhancing its overall efficiency.

The Diablo-225 Space Saving Skimmer is also adaptable and easy to upgrade to a larger pump, if desired. In addition to the included PSK-1000 Sicce pinwheel pump, the Diablo-225 Space Saving Skimmer features a bubble chamber, a full cone body, a silencer, a cup drain, and a gate valve.

1. Verify that all required parts are included and intact.
2. Place the skimmer chamber horizontally on a flat surface; insert the pump outlet in the hole in the skimmer bottom.
3. Attach the silencer to the reaction chamber.
4. Connect the silencer to the air intake device on the pump using the silicone tube.
5. Install the gate valve.
6. Place the skimmer in your sump and install the collection cup.
7. Make sure the water level in your sump is at least 1.5" above the pump's inlet. Plug the pump into an electrical outlet and adjust the bubble level in your skimmer by adjusting the gate value.
8. To avoid collection cup overflow during your skimmer's initial use, stay nearby the skimmer and monitor its performance for at least 30 minutes.

Safety Tips:

1. Use the skimmer under marked voltage.
2. Keep the pump water inlet at least 1.5" under the water surface.
3. Keep your aquarium water free of debris to prevent impurities from being drawn into the pump.
