Great
This is my first skimmer and although the directions were sparse it was easy to set up and began separating some dark ugly stuff from my aquarium within hrs. The water looks so clear it's hard to imagine that there is actually harmful elements in there. I ordered this skimmer, moderately low priced, bc I hv a heavy bio load in my 55g...live rock fish only tank. I'm very happy w it and the price.

I put in sump in 6 1/2 in of water and is working well- instructions say 8 to 10 for best prefomance-but seems to be doing well after a week- half a cup of wet skim already-adjustment control touchy but ok - you will definatly need water top off system to keep water level constant but all skimmers need-only con I dont know if having a drain tube on cup would hurt it would have liked one - over all well worth money because skims well powerful quiet pump-would recommend-

excellent product
after trying to decide on the hundreds of skimmers out there, I decided to go with the PSK-150 for my 90gallon mixed reef.
This skimmer is very easy to use,and only took about 2days to breakin and start producing gunk. I have it set to wet skim and it is filling up the cupwith that green/brown gunk that need not be in the tank. My water is the clearest it has ever been. Nitrates have gone from .5 to less than .3 in one week

Best accessory on my aquarium
I put this in my sump and two days later it was full. I took off the top and found that the water was very dirty and since then my water has been clearer and the nitrates have fallen to almost zero after just 2 weeks.
