This is a MUST HAVE product!
I originally was running my 90 gallon saltwater reef aquarium with no skimmer at all, facing many problems with nitrates, unclear water, and an ugly white protein film on the surface of the water. I was doing frequent water changes, but could not get the water to that optimal level I wanted it to be at. Then, I was recommended Marine Series Advanced In-Sump Skimmers Marine Pro and everything changed. Comparing it to many other skimmers I viewed this one topped them all. This skimmer takes up very little space in your sump and is extremely efficient. It quickly began collecting protein skimming bubbles, removing all of that waste out of the tank. This skimmer solved all those problems I was having with my water and I was finally running a happy, healthy, beautiful tank. AMAZING MUST BUY!

buyer beware
I bought the Marine Pro 100 approximately one year ago, for a 55 gallon reef tank with a wet-dry filter.
The positives are: small footprint, reliable, easy to take apart and clean, good flow. The negatives are that if it's a standard sump with varying water levels then the skimmer is almost useless; impossible to adjust to avoid overflow or underproduction.
When I added a refugium with a separate stable level first compartment, the skimmer worked beautifully with a consistent and highly concentrated output. So buyer beware if you don't have a stable sump water level. If you do then it's a great little skimmer.
