Fluval Filter Foam Blocks provide mechanical filtration that effectively captures particulate waste. Helps keep aquarium water clear and prevents premature clogging of other filter media in the Module Stack. Custom fit prevents bypass and special pore size and design allows efficient water flow with less clogging for long-lasting filtration.

Although the primary purpose of the Fluval Filter Foam Block is mechanical filtration, biological activity will eventually occur within its pore structure to support enhanced biological filtration. Fluval Filter Foam Blocks should be cleaned monthly and replaced every 6 months to ensure best performance.

Directions for Use
Directions: Rinse Foam thoroughly before inserting into Filter.

Maintenance: Foam inserts should be rinsed using water from the aquarium. Inserts should be cleaned monthly and replaced every 6 months.

Do not replace all Filter media simultaneously. Stagger media replacement to ensure constant bacterial populations.
