PhosPure®
Bind phosphate permanently without leaching for total phosphate removal. Commercial strength granulated ferric hydroxide quickly removes phosphate, arsenic and heavy metals from the water column for cleaner, healthier aquariums. Powerful, nontoxic formulation can be used in a variety of applications to adsorb nutrients that cause scum safely and effectively. Ideal for both freshwater and marine applications. 300-micron filter media bag included for convenient application.

PhosPure® Suggested Use:
Freshwater: 1 tablespoon per 50 gallons of water, monthly.
Saltwater: 1 tablespoon per 25 gallons of water, monthly.

Combination chemical filter media for total phosphate removal and ammonia control. Contains a special blend of commercial strength granulated ferric hydroxide, high capacity cation-exchange zeosorbent and acid-washed activated carbon. Safely and effectively removes large amounts of phosphate, arsenic, silicate, heavy metals, and ammonia. Powerful, nontoxic formulation can be used in a variety of applications to absorb nutrients that cause aquarium and pond scum and other pollutants that result from tap water or from normal biological processes. For fresh and saltwater aquariums. 300-micron media bag included for convenient application.

Directions for Use:
Place PhosPure in a fine mesh media bag (included), rinse thoroughly and place inside any filter. PhosPure can also be used in a media reactor for greater efficiency. Adjust flow rate through contact chamber so the granules do not tumble too vigorously.

Applications:
For Aquariums: Use in canister filters, power filters, sumps, refugiums, corner filters, or next to uplift tube of undergravel filters. For Ponds: Use in filter or pond skimmer. NOTE: In filters that receive infrequent servicing or aquariums with aggressive scum, three times the suggested amount of PhosPure can be safely used at once.

Suggested Use:
For freshwater aquariums and ponds, use 1 tablespoon (Tbsp.) of PhosPure per 50-gallons of water, monthly. For saltwater aquariums or heavily stocked freshwater aquariums or ponds, use 1 Tbsp. per 25-gallons of water, monthly. For reef or freshwater-planted aquariums, use 1 Tbsp. per 20-gallons of water. Monitor phosphate levels with a test kit and maintain levels under 0.05 ppm. Replace media as necessary as phosphate levels begin to rise.

Storage:
Store unused portion in original PhosPure container and close tightly. Do not freeze or store in extreme heat.

For aquarium and pond use only. Keep out of reach of children. Do not take internally. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. In case of eye contact, flush with water and seek medical attention.

PhosPure® plus Zeolite & Carbon
Active Ingredients:
Blend of 64% high capacity cation exchange Zeosorbent, 25% granulated Ferric Hydroxide, and 11% acid-washed Activated Carbon.

Directions:
Place PhosPure plus Zeolite & Carbon in fine mesh media bag (supplied) and rinse thoroughly under running water. Place inside any filter in a way that minimizes water bypass.

Applications:
For Aquariums: Use in canister filters, power filters, sumps, corner filters, or next to uplift tube of undergravel filters. For Ponds: Use in filter or pond skimmer. NOTE: In filters or pond skimmers that receive infrequent servicing, three times the suggested amount of PhosPure plus Zeolite & Carbon can be safely used at once.

Suggested Use:
For freshwater and saltwater aquariums and ponds, use instead of activated carbon for total waste control. Replace monthly in heavily stocked systems, and every 2 to 6 months in moderately and lightly stocked aquariums.
