Quality, workmanship is very good
I have only used the net one time so far. It is larger in size than I expected, but that's my fault. I really can't comment on the ease of use because the fish I used it to catch is easy to catch anyway. The only inegative issue I have with the net is that the fabric is very stiff. I like softer fabric for delicate fish such as German Rams, etc.

5" Long - functional, not exceptional
I purchased the 5" Long - It's a functional net however the fish see it as easily as any other net as far as I can tell. The price is great for a longer handled net, however the material is a bit rough, for my saltwater fish and inverts I'd prefer a softer material and finer mesh. I likely won't use it for my more delicate fish.

Not working as intended
in the description it said the net will make catching fish easier because they can't see red? Well, I don't know how true that is because I am no marine biologist but I am sure the fish knows. As soon as I put the net in the tank they started panicking, darting around when I try to get close with the net. Maybe they can't see the net, but the bracket? or the wave motion that the net is creating.
In conclusion, its just like my other regular green and black net in the sense of effort needed to catch a fish. I do like the red color though.
