Great tool
This is a great little planting tool. The scissors are extremely sharp
And make a precise cut. The jaws tool is very useful in tall aquariums
Like mine and my hands don't even touch the water! I give this tool
A five star rating above some of the other tools on the market and
I have tried most of them. This will rapidly become the only tool you will use for planting and maintenance in your aquariums. I do wish that the manufacturer would make a larger jaw that opened wider than the one that comes in the package, for moving larger objects in the tank, but overall, it a great tool. I highly recommend it!

Cuts easily and smoothly, grabs firmly, easy to manipulate
I had this same trimmer several years ago with my first few fish tanks. It was given away when I had to give up my tanks before a move. Now that I'm settled again and have some new tanks I looked for the tried and true clipper I used back then. Here it is. I've already used it several times and it's apparent they're still making a great, easy to manipulate tool. The cutter holds the clipping after you cut it so you don't have to fish around for the pieces. It clips through all my plants on the ifrst cut. No need to have to "saw" thru a plant with multiple cuts to make it work.

Handy Tool
This is just one of those tools you think you can live without, but once you you have one you know that is not the case. I have used this tool for many different tasks, from pruning plant to pulling out decoration for cleaning and even so work with the aquarium substrate. This is just one of those tools that you will use for any task and just a great tool to have.

Useful and simple
I have a tall freshwater planted tank. Now, rather than get my entire arm wet to get out dead leaves or replant something that came a little loose, I can pull out this pruning tool and have it done in a second without the wet arm and towel to dry off. I've learned that whatever makes cleaning and maintenance easier is worth it because it makes me more likely to get to it.
A bit of a warning... this item is a little brittle so use it carefully. If you do, it will last and be a very helpful tool.
