Tetra Submersible Heaters 50 watt; 5-3/4"; up to 10 gallons
works well within its limits.
these heaters are awesome so long as you use it within its limits? 100W for a 30 gallon is a stretch. 20 gallon absolutely. but i live in the cold northeast so i always go with a larger heater. i use these in sumps as backups to main heaters, and for the price i also use for emergency heaters. i always have 2 on hand. will hold temperature(when coupled 2 together) in my 180 gallon tanks till i can get to store for replacements. .have them in my kitchen betta tank on up to a 40 gallon feeder tank. economical, automatic, submersible, small... in a word AWESOME...

I have purchased several of these heaters for various tanks, and I highly recommend them. The fact that they are submersible is great. The constant temperature is completely hands-free and accurate. The red and green indicator lights reassure that the unit is working. A solidly reliable heating unit. You won't be disappointed.
