Hi, I've recently made a new wooden canopy for my 55 gallon freshwater aquarium~Now I need to add the correct lighting. (For the time being, I've installed 2 fluorescent "under cabinet" lights that I bought cheap at Wal-Mart, but I know they aren't safe + won't hold up with the moisture.) Several of the articles I've read on making your own lighting say to use "pre-wired end caps" for the fluorescent bulbs, but I can't seem to find these anyplace. They have the end caps here, but they are not pre-wired, and my electrical experience is limited. Can someone please help me figure out a solution for this? Any different ideas are welcome, or let me know where I can find the correct items for this project. Money is the object, and I need to do this as inexpensively as possible. Thank You!
