Aquatic Plant LED w/Timer 18"-24"
For those who don't think its a different light, look at your "blue" lights at about a 1 degree angle or better yet, turn your filter off and look at the reflection of your led from above the water. You can clearly see a red, a blue, and a green hexagon led together in a "triangle". Yes it has all three, next time tike the time to properly inspect your products before posting negative reviews. The 36-48" penetrates my 75 gallon with no spotlighting and there is a nice shimmer. Plants on the bottom look Very green and the legs extend past my 48.5 inch tank. I will soon be getting 2 of the 48-60'' to really brighten the tank up and get maximum plant growth. Very satisfied with the product.

if you are experiencing die when you switch from an other type of lighting i.e. (t5 HO, vho, MH, or anything else) you should not just take out the old fixture and replace with different type. add the LED to current lighting and slowly start to drop down the time used from other lighting system pretty much acclimate plant to a different type of lighting. also for the ppl saying its not 6500k, well it is, its a mix of the following spectrum's that's why it does not look red but don't worry it is putting out a 6500k band of the spectrum plus some others to give better color for viewing purpose (looks better).i don't have one on my personal tank but my buddy wanted a planted tank and knows nothing about them, so i got him started and used these light in conjunction with T5HO cause that's what the pet store was using and id have to say his tank now look better than mine and i will be adding these to my tank. but if you have the extra money i would recommend the kessil amazon led. cost more but well worth the extra cash.

These lights are great
Back around the first of the year, I ordered 3 of these lights, 2 of the 24-36 inch size and one of the 48-60 inch size. the two smaller ones are on a 20L and a 20H. The largest size is on a 90 gallon tank. My plants in all 3 tanks have responded well, lots of growth. My amazon sword plants in the 90 are not as big as I would like, but are constantly putting out new leaves.
These really highlight the colors of my fish, more true colors than I had when I used florescent lighting.
I find the built in timers great, really like looking at the tanks when in the 'moonlight' phase.

Excellent replacement light
After several years of T5 light fixtures that kept failing, and going through a T5HO lamp in less than a month due to overheating, I finally decided I was done with replacing lamps and fixtures every few months and went for this LED light.
I have the 48-60" lamp (it's about the same size as a 48" fixture) on a 75 gallon freshwater planted goldfish tank, and it fits perfectly under the box canopy. The light timers are incredibly convenient (no more bulky outlet timers, or managing multiple light fixture switches and plugs), and the color is nice and crisp. The blue "dusk" light adds a really nice shimmering effect to the tank.
Some of the plants have really responded to the light as well and I've had to actually throw out quite a bit of new growth because it was overcrowding the tank. The only con here is that algae also responds really well to the light. I did not take a star off for this since I believe I just need to turn the lights off a little earlier.
The light fixture does tend to get pretty warm, but unlike the tube fixtures I've had, the heat doesn't seem to build up inside the canopy top, or the heat up the tank water. I really like the small profile of the light- it is MUCH smaller than my previous fixtures, with what seems like more light than a dual T5HO.
I am incredibly happy with this purchase, and would recommend this fixture to anyone else looking to upgrade their lighting system, especially if they have plants.
