The integrated hood features a brilliant 105 watt quad compact fluorescent lamp for 3.75 watts of light per gallon. This 10,000°K/7,100°K combo lamp offers a smart solution for high intensity light output while minimizing unwanted heat generation. The all-in-one Nano Cube CF-QUAD features 2 powerheads with directional flow nozzles controlled by the redesigned Ocean Pulse Duo alternating wavemaker. The newly incorporated memory chip ensures flawless performance of the Ocean Pulse Duo even after a power failure. Built-in filtration system employs an innovative 3-stage filter media basket installed with a mechanical sponge, activated carbon and biological ceramic rings. For the experienced reef-keeper, this transparent and compartmentalized filter media basket can be used as an in-tank refugium for a natural approach to reef keeping. Simply add macro-algae such as chaetomorpha in lieu of the mechanical sponge and biological ceramic rings. Glass aquarium with rounded corners for seamless panoramic viewing. The 28 gallon CF-QUAD is the most value packed AIO (All-In-One) in its class and price level. It offers almost 50% more light wattage than competing brands, two powerheads, Ocean Pulse Duo wavemaker, removable transparent filter basket (for easy refugium conversion), designated heater column, designated protein skimmer column (protein skimmer sold separately), two cooling fans, and four Nite-Vu LEDs with its own power supply.

The revolutionary CF-QUAD lamp boasts 105 watts of high-intensity daytime light output with the 10K/7,100K Combo lamp. It utilizes a small compact size while delivering mega-lumens to your corals. The quick-disconnect harness always makes changing the lamp quick and easy.

Nite-Vu LEDs are strategically placed on all four corners to evenly distribute moon lighting throughout the aquarium. All LEDs are prewired individually with a male plug for easy replacement. They consumes less than 1 watt of power, but are strong enough to illuminate nocturnal behaviors.

Advanced Features

• Integrated Cooling System: The secret to the cool running top is the artistic canopy that also serves as a key factor in heat dissipation. All canopies are made from heat retardant ABS plastic. The 2 cooling fans automatically turn on/off with the main CF-QUAD lighting system. A thermal protector is also added to automatically shut off the lighting system in the event the fan fails. It will automatically turn back on once temperatures reach safe conditions.
• Easy Feeding: The new feeding lid is lighter than the previous full-front lid. It grants quick and easy access for feeding and retrieving water samples without lifting the entire hood.
• Smart Filtration: The filter starts as water enters the center overflow. The water is directed into the 3-stage Filter Media Basket, which is installed with a mechanical sponge, chemical activated carbon, and biological ceramic rings. The unique 3-stage Filter Media Basket can house a variety of chemical media to suit your needs. Cleaning is especially easy since all you have to do is lift up on the basket handle and watch the water drain out the bottom for simple and dry filter change. All baskets have a sliding door for added convenience.
• Newly Redesigned Filter Basket: Now transparent for easy refugium conversion. Simply add macro-algae (e.g. Chaetomorpha) into Chamber One and Chamber Two. It is recommended to leave the activated carbon in Chamber Three with a small piece of the mechanical sponge before the water exits to prevent algae clogging pumps.
• Creating Motion in Captive Oceans: The redesigned Ocean Pulse Duo now incorporates a memory chip for flawless performance even after a power failure. The wavemaker creates turbulent currents for a more natural reef environment. You can set it from 10 seconds to 6 minute alternating cycles. Water is returned via two directional return nozzles on each side of the center overflow for even natural currents.
