Works very well
It would be very nice to be able to turn the main lite off with carling on the floor if you put a switch to turn it off the blue led's will not work.

this is a great all in one tank I got the nano cube 24 and it was bigger than I thought it would be!! it currently houses 2 damsels a starfish and some live rock it is a great little tank!!! although disappointed you cant add tangs to it you can still add 3-4 small to medium fish such as gobies damsel blennies etc.

Great little All-In-One aquarium
Great size tank that can fit almost anywhere. Comes with all the basic needs to run a simple saltwater aquarium if housing soft corals. Visit Live Aquaria for soft corals only.
If you're looking to keep SPS, then you may have to "upgrade" a few of this tank's specs. But for the most part, this tank works exceptionally well with the equipment supplied.
The only complaint I have with this nano cube is the lighting system. There is no separate cord for the moonlights.

Good little aquarium
I own the 12 gallon non-deluxe model (with only one lightbulb) and it has been running almost smoothly for two years as a freshwater planted. We changed the original pump because this one's current is too strong for freshwater, and we don't use the brand filter media (buy a bag and some other media for a lot less) but otherwise it is running as bought.
Pros:
- Easy to setup
- Looks nice
- Lots of room in the back for heater
Neutral:
- You only get ~10 gallons of water, and 1-2 are hidden in the back inside the filter area (typical of nano aquariums)
Cons:
- You can't put both the LEDs and main lights on a timer since it's a single switch.
- Getting the lid off for maintenance makes me feel like the hinge could break
- From some other nano systems I've seen, there might be better choices
