Glass Only Mag-Float Small
Mine is a 210 gallon glass tank and the medium size Mag-Float required multiple passes, kept detaching, my hands would get routinely wet from having to manage the the detaching pieces, and algae would return within days. The medium Mag says it's designed for glass up to 5/8" thick. My glass looks to be about 1/2" (4/8") but it just didn't work. The large Mag-Float works so well that I only need two passes to keep the glass clean for over a week at a time. The magnet is very powerful, though, and caution should be taken when handling the magnets to avoid injury or breaking the glass on glass that is about 1/2" thick.

Never thought it was so easy and convenient, but it is. Just replace both pads and save lots of money. AWESOME Thanks

Buy the large size
I use them for 3 of the fish tanks. The medium one is not strong enough for my 78g bow front tank. The curve of the glass might be the reason. For $10 more, buy the large one to be safe. For reef tank with strong light, I recommend the one with the blade. I use it once about every month to scrape out the tough algae and coralline algae.
