Excellent Product
I was skeptical at first of hang on back refugium's in general. After doing a TON of research I decided to purchase the CPR hang on back refugium for my SPS and LPS 20 gallon frag tank. I couldn't be happier! Very well put together and works fantastic. I dropped in a bit of refugium rubble, live sand, and some macro algae and have had perfect water parameters ever since.

Say goodby to nitrates
I love this Aquafuge refugium. I have a 50 gallon acrylic reef tank with an integrated filtration system built into the back of the tank. I was having problems with old tank syndrom and nitrait buildup. This refugium is a life saver. It's a bit tricky to clean and remove filter media in the back of the tank now, as I bought the medium sized refugeium, but it's well worth the cost and hassel, in my opinion. I just filled it with macro algaes and it is literally sucking all the nitraits out of the water. I recommend a LED light source that hangs on the wall facing the refugium, not a light that sits on top of it. Over all I give the "Aquafuge" high marks for nitrait reduction.

Very good product
I am using this product on my 29 gallon fresh water aquarium, and instead of growing plants in the water, I have plants growing out of the water such as bamboo, and a mallow plant.
The Mallow is a bog plant that is usually for a pond or bog, but works great next to a window.
