Multifunction aquarium wet/dry filter adapts to your fresh or saltwater system's filtration needs. Dual chamber design can be operated in three ways. Use four included 100-micron filter bags for 100% Berlin filtration, ideal for systems that employ deep sand bed filters to foster beneficial bacteria growth. Or, fill both chambers with bio-balls to ramp up your aquarium's biological filtration. Or, use biological filter media in one chamber and a filtration bag in the other for superior water clarity. Includes two independent fluidized bed chemical filtration reactors that accept any loose chemical filter media for customized nitrate, phosphate or other toxin removal. Wet/Dry filter housing is made of cell-cast, computer-cut, and flame-polished acrylic with injection-molded components. Features a noise reducing chamber, protein skimmer return port, super-flow capacity weir rated to over 2,000 gph, one wet/dry filter drain kit, and an 18 gallon capacity sump. For aquariums up to 125 gallons. Measures just 11-1/4" wide x 30" long x 18" high to fit beneath most aquarium cabinet stands.
Replacement 100-micron Polyester Felt Filter Bags with 2 large 4" dia x 12" long and 2 small 4" dia x 5" long filtration bags also available. Large bags offer superior water polishing and nitrate control, while small bags promote bubble diffusion and support the chemical reactors.

The Berliner WD-125 Wet/Dry Filter also incorporates two independently operated fluidized bed chemical filtration reactors to accommodate loose carbon, phosphate, or nitrate removers, or blended medias for superior chemical filtration. These reactors operate 100% bypass free for ultra-efficient chemical filtration. The filter is also designed with a super-flow capacity weir for handling very large flow rates. It also has a noise elimination chamber for quiet operation, suitable for placement in the cabinet-stand of any home or office fresh or saltwater aquarium.
