I just setup a 55 gallon with a perfecto undergravel. I mounted 2 aqua clear 50 powerheads and also have a whisper 60 on the back. So far so good, water is crystal clear. I have a few tetras in there to help cycle. It works great.
Filter works great! My ammonia and nitrite read zero after just one week. I have mine mounted with two Maxi-Jet 400's and the flow is superb. The best undergravel filter I have ever owned!
