Turbo CO 2 Bio-System System
Cannot beat this system for the money!
An inexpensive way to introduce co2 into your tank. This is the second one of these I have bought. My tank is lush with healthy plants and the fish (guppies) and shrimp are happy. With a decent substrate and good lighting and some co2, your plants will be happy to.

Simple and does what it promises.
I have been running it for over a year. No expensive CO2 bottles and no makeshift DYI problems either.
Plants are growing well and refills are easily done.
I am not sure what some of the other reviewers were expecting from this inexpensive product.

Basically this is a 1 liter plastic bottle, a check valve, some tubing and a cheap low powered "powerhead" you mix yeast, sugar, and water together and the yeast make CO2.
The truism "You get what you pay for" could have been created by the engineers of this product.
After 48 hours (double the time on the instructions) the system started to sputter with 2 or 3 large bubbles every minute or three. Two days later I get a spurt or two every 15 to 45 seconds.
CO2 concentration in my tank has actually gone down, the included hose is to short to do anything but hang the ugly container on your tank.
If you cannot afford a real CO2 system, DIY with 2 liter bottles is at least as effective, or save up and buy a real CO2 system.

do not buy
I liked the idea of this product since I do not like having a canister of compressed gas in my house to dispense CO2 into my tank; however, the product is defective. I never saw any CO2 gas delivered into my tank by the diffuser/pump. The pump did not want to stay in place and floated around the back of my tank. I had to continually suction it back onto the glass. After a couple of days of using the product the diffuser vibrated so much that it would click against the glass which was very annoying. I was very disappointed.
