Defrost, clean, and supplement frozen aquarium fish food in one convenient unit! Aqua Medic Defroster+ streamlines the preparation of frozen foods to ensure highest quality nutrition for your aquarium inhabitants. Nesting sieve separates thawed fish food and drains melted wastewater to prevent the introduction of nitrate, phosphate and other unwanted organic material that can compromise aquarium water quality.

Give thawed and cleaned fish food a nutritional boost using included Aminovit Vitamin and Amino Acid Solution or your favorite vitamin supplement. Aqua Medic Defroster+ includes Defroster Box with Lid and Sieve, 40 ml Aminovit Vitamin and Amino Acid Solution and a 2 ml syringe. Aqua Medic Defroster+ measures 6" x 3-9/16" x 3-3/4" high. Sieve measures 5-1/8" x 2-11/16" x 2-1/2" high.

Direction for use
To defrost frozen fish food, simply put frozen fish food in the Defroster+ Defroster Box half filled with water. After defrosting, pour the liquid in the Defroster Box through the Defroster+ Sieve over a drain to separate the defrosted fish food from the wastewater. Place the Defroster+ Sieve on top of the edge of the Defroster Box so it can drip totally off.

When the wastewater has dripped off, you may add 2-4 drops of the included Aminovit (contains vitamin and amino acid solution) and let it soak in for a while. During this procedure, use the included Lid to protect the defrosted fish food from drying and light. Now the food is ready to offer and is free of unnecessary waste that may compromise aquarium water quality.

After feeding your aquarium inhabitants, any residual wastewater should be poured into the drain. The Defroster+ Sieve and the Defroster+ Defroster Box should be rinsed with clean fresh water to prevent unwanted smells or drying of residue. The Aqua Medic Defroster+ is again ready for use.
