Directions: Shake well. Add entire bottle to aquarium. Aquarium is then ready for fish.
Principle Ingredients: Purified water, patented and patent pending strains of: Nitrosomonas, Nitrosospira, and Nitrospira.
General Information
Tetra SafeStart accelerates the establishment of the bio-filter in newly setup aquariums. It can also be used after water changes or after medicating, SafeStart contains patented and patent pending bacteria and is proven to reduce ammonia and nitrite toxicity.
Preparations for New Aquariums:
- Condition tap water with a chlorine and chloramine remover.
- Maintain a constant, appropriate water temperature in your aquarium.
- Be sure to turn off any UV sterilizer or ozone generator for 48 hours.
- Remove all medications via water change or activated carbon.
Tetra AquaSafe Plus
Directions for Use
AquaSafe Plus should be used when setting up a new aquarium and with every partial water change or evaporation replacement.
Add one teaspoon (5 ml) for every 10 gallons of water. Top of bottle cap can be used for measuring. Fill to inner ring/line to treat 10 gallons or use one full capful per 20 gallons.
Note: Always make sure that the replacement aquarium water is the same temperature as existing aquarium to additionally safeguard inhabitants.
AquaSafe Plus is NOT a medication and is not intended to be a substitute for any medication.
Principal Ingredients: Sodiumhydroxymethane Sulfinate, Polyvinyl Pyrollidones, Organic Hydrocolloids and Organic Chelating Compounds.
General Information
AquaSafe Plus makes tap water safe for fish by neutralizing chlorine and heavy metals present in municipal water supplies.
Also neutralizes chloramine by breaking down the bond between chlorine and ammonia while reducing both the fish-toxic chlorine and ammonia compounds*.
*AquaSafe Plus will not remove ammonia from an un-cycled, overstocked, or under-filtered aquarium.
Additionally, AquaSafe Plus provides a slime coating to help wounds heal and protect fish from abrasions.
Tetra EasyBalance Plus
Directions for Use
Shake well before using.
Add one teaspoon (5 ml) for every 10 gallons of water. Repeat dosage weekly.
Change 50-75% of your aquarium's water at least once every 6 months, provided EasyBalance has been added as recommended and the aquarium is otherwise properly maintained.*
*A properly maintained aquarium contains the correct stocking level of fish, proper aeration using an airstone, an efficient and regularly maintained filtration system and regular testing of vital water quality parameters.
NOTE: EasyBalance is not a tap water conditioner and will not neutralize harmful chlorine or chloramines. When adding tap water to the aquarium, it is recommended you always use Tetra AquaSafe according to directions. EasyBalance should not be used in aquariums with low oxygen conditions; proper aeration using an airstone is strongly recommended. |
